EXPEDITED PERMIT PROCESS FOR PV SYSTENlS
STANDARD STRINC SYSTEM
The Solar America Board for Codes and Srandards (Solar ABCS) Expedited Permit Pro-
cess provides a mears ro differentiate systems that can be permifted quickly and easily
due to their similarity with the majoriry o[ smallscq,le PV systems. Those systems with
unique characteristics may be handled with small additions to tl)is Expedited Peflnit
Process or may require much more intormation, depending on the uniqueness o[ the
installation.
The tbllowing pages conrain forms for the Standard String System to use wirh the Expe-
dited Permit Process. The Micro-lnverter. AC Module, and Supply-Side Connection forms
are also available as interactive PDF Files at www.solarabcs.org/permitting. In jurisdic-
tions that have adopted lhe Expedited Permit Process For PV Systems, these forms can
be tilled out electronically and submitted in elther printed form and via email. An elec-
tronic format is used so that the supplied information js standardized and legible for rhe
local Jurisdrction
