Subject Geotechnical Engineer's Certification of Rough And Precise Grading For
Proposed Residential Development, l418 N Mar Les, Santa Ana, California
92706.
Dear Mr. Duong
I hereby certify that the rough and precise grading ofthe subject site has been performed in
accordance with the approved soil report and approved grading plan and our additional
recommendations during grading; and the graded site is considered geotechnically acceptable
and suitable lor the intended use. The previous recommendations of the approved soil report
are still valid and should be properly implemented, where applicable.
The proposed building footing trenches can be excavated, and construction of the proposed
building can be started.
It is noted that the remedial removal and recompaction of the upper 3 ft. thick pre-existing
earth materials olthe building pad area and minimum 3 ft. beyond/outside of the perimeter of
the proposed building has been performed and the fill / backfill earth materials were
compacted to minimum ol 90% of the maximum density determined in accordance with the
ASTM Test Method D1557.
