The Solar America Board for Codes and S(andards (Solar ABCS) Expedited Permit Pro-
cess provides a means to differenriate sysrems that can be permitted quickly and easily
due to their similarity with the majority of small-scale PV systems. Those systems with
unique characreristics may be handled with small additions ro Lhis Expedited Permit
Process or may require much more information, depending on the uniqueness of the
installation.
The following pages contain forms for the Srandard String System to use with the Expe'
dited Permit Process. The Micro-lnverter, AC Module, and Supply-Side Connection forms
are also available as interaclive PDF files at wwwsolarabcs.org/perlnitting. ln jurisdic-
tions that have adopted the Expedited Permit Process for PV Systems, these forms can
be filled out electronically and submirted in either printed form and via email. An elec-
rronic formar is used so that the supplied information is srandardized and legible for the
local jurisdiction.
