THE DOCUMENTS SHALL THEN BE SUBMITTED TO THE ARCHITECT AND ENGINEER OF RECORD, WHO SHALL REVIEW THEM. UPON SATISFACTORY REVIEW, THE ARCHITECT SHALL FORWARD THE DOCUMENTS TO THE BUILDING OFFICIAL VIA THE CONTRACTOR WITH A NOTATION INDICATING THAT THE DOCUMENTS HAVE BEEN REVIEWED AND THAT THEY HAVE BEEN FOUND TO BE IN GENERAL CONFORMANCE WITH THE DESIGN CONCEPT OF THE BUILDING. CONTRACTOR SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR SUBMITTING TO, AND OBTAINING APPROVAL OF, THE AHJ OVER THE WORK FOR EACH RESPECTIVE DEFERRED SUBMITTAL.
