The information in rhis guideline is intended to help local jurisd ictions and contractors identiry when PV system installations
are simple, needing only a basic review, and when an installaron is more complex. lr ls likely rhar 50 % -75 % of all residential
systems will comply with these simple criteria. For projects that farl to meer rhe simple criteria, resolurion sreps have been
suggested to provide as a parh to permir approval.

l. Sire plan showing location oF major components on rhe properry. This drawing need nor be exacrly ro scale. but it
should represent relative localion of components at site (see supplied example sire plan). PV arrays on dwellings
wirh a S perimeter space at ndge and sides may not need separate nre servlce review.
2. Elecarical diagram showing PV array configuration, wiring sysrem, overcurrent prorecrion, inverter, disconnecrs,
requrred signs. and ac connec[ion to buiLding (see supplied standard electrical dragram).
3. specification sheets and insrallation nlanuals (if available) for all nranufactured contponents including, bur nor
limrted to, PV modules, inveruer(s), combiner box, disconnecas, and mounnng system.
