The rnformation in this guideline is intended Io help local Jurisdictions and conrracrors identify when PV svsrem rnsrallarions
are simPle. needing only a basic review. and when an installalion is more complex lI is Iikely lhar 50%-75% of all residential

ln order for a PV system to be considered for an expedited permit process, the fotlowing must apply:
I PV modules, utilily-interactive inverters. and combiner boxes are identihed for use in PV systems
2. The PV array is composed of 4 series strings or less per inverre.
5. The roral inverter capacity has a conrinuous ac power ourpur I1.440 Watls or less
4. The ac interconnection poinr is on the load side of service disconnecring means (690 64(B)).
