POST-TENSION CONCRETE SLAB GENERAL NOTES
A.BEFORE CORING THROUGH THE EXISTING POST-TENSION CONCRETE SLABS, THE
CONTRACTOR SHALL USE BOTH A GPR SCOPE AND X-RAY SCOPE TO LOCATE
POST-TENSION CABLES, ELECTRICAL CONDUIT, WATER PIPES, AND OTHER ITEMS IN
THE POST-TENSION CONCRETE SLABS.
B.THE X-RAY SCOPE SHALL BE PERFORMED DURING OFF HOURS OF THE TENANTS
BUSINESS HOURS.
C.IF THE CONTRACTOR FINDS CONFLICTS IN THE DRAWINGS LAYOUT IN REGARDS TO
THE EXISTING CONDITIONS DISCOVERED BY THE X-RAY SCOPE, THE GC SHALL
CONTACT THE ONE ARCHITECTURE FOR DIRECTION ON THE DESIGN LAYOUT
CHANGES.
D.ANY CHANGES TO THE DRAWINGS LAYOUT WILL NEED APPROVAL FROM ONE
ARCHITECTURE PRIOR TO CORING THE POST-TENSION SLAB.
