Dear Jon Maxwell,
TEP is pleased to submit this “Appurtenance Mount Analysis” to determine the structural integrity of the
antenna mount on the above-mentioned tower.
The purpose of the analysis is to determine acceptability of the mount's stress level. Based on our analysis we
have determined the stress level for the mount structure, under the following load case, to be:
LC1: Existing + Proposed + Reserved Loading Sufficient Capacity*
Note: See Table 2 for the existing, proposed, and reserved loading
*Sufficient upon completion of the changes listed in the “Recommendations” section of this report
The analysis has been performed in accordance with the ANSI/TIA-222-H Structural Standard for Antenna
Supporting Structures, Antennas, and Small Wind Turbine Support Structures, the 2022 California Building Code,
and the AT&T Mount Technical Guidance – Revision 25.
All equipment proposed in this report shall be installed in accordance with the appurtenances listed in Table 2 for
the determined available structural capacity to be effective.
We at TEP appreciate the opportunity of providing our continuing professional services to you and M Squared
Wireless. If you have any questions or need further assistance on this or any other projects, please give us a call.
Respectfully submitted by:
Adam M. Amortnont, P.E., S.E.

RECOMMENDATIONS
1) If the load differs from that described in Table 2 of this report or the provisions of this analysis
are found to be invalid, another structural analysis should be performed.
2) The mount and its connection have sufficient capacity to carry the proposed loading
configuration.
In order for the results of this analysis to be valid, the mount modifications listed below must be
completed:
a) (3) SitePro P30120, 2.5 Sch.40 x 10’-0” Mount Pipes (CONMAT Item No. ANT.16008)
b) (6) SitePro FCX45-U Universal Crossover Plate Kits (CONMAT Item No. ANT.56006)
ANALYSIS ASSUMPTIONS
1) The mount was built in accordance with the manufacturer’s specifications.
2) The mount has been maintained in accordance with the manufacturer’s specification.
3) The configuration of antennas, transmission cables, mounts and other appurtenances are as
specified in Table 2. All mount components have been assumed to be in sufficient condition to
carry their full design capacity for this analysis.
4) Serviceability with respect to antenna twist, tilt, roll, or lateral translation, is not checked and is
left to the carrier or tower owner to ensure conformance.
5) TEP did not analyze the collar mount connection to the pole and assumes it to have sufficient
structural capacity to transfer the applied forces from the mount to the tower.
6) All material grades used for this analysis, unless verified by mount manufacturer design, were
assumed per AISC Table 2-4, 15th Edition. See RISA 3-D output for confirmation on grades used
in this analysis.
This analysis may be affected if any assumptions are not valid or have been made in error. TEP should
be notified to determine the effect on the structural integrity of the mount.

Value provided is 3-second gust wind speeds at 33 ft above ground for Exposure C Category, based on linear
interpolation between contours. Wind speeds are interpolated in accordance with the 7-16 Standard. Wind speeds
correspond to approximately a 7% probability of exceedance in 50 years (annual exceedance probability =
0.00143, MRI = 700 years).
Site is not in a hurricane-prone region as defined in ASCE/SEI 7-16 Section 26.2.

Ice thicknesses on structures in exposed locations at elevations higher than the surrounding terrain and in valleys
and gorges may exceed the mapped values.
Values provided are equivalent radial ice thicknesses due to freezing rain with concurrent 3-second gust speeds,
for a 500-year mean recurrence interval, and temperatures concurrent with ice thicknesses due to freezing rain.
Thicknesses for ice accretions caused by other sources shall be obtained from local meteorological studies. Ice
thicknesses in exposed locations at elevations higher than the surrounding terrain and in valleys and gorges may
exceed the mapped values.

Dear Jon Maxwell,
TEP is pleased to submit this “Structural Analysis Report” to determine the structural integrity of the above-
mentioned tower.
The purpose of the analysis is to determine acceptability of the tower stress level. Based on our analysis we have
determined the stress level for the tower and foundation structure, under the following load case, to be:
LC1: Existing + Proposed + Reserved Loading Sufficient Capacity
Note: See Table 1 for the existing, proposed, and reserved loading
*Percent capacity based on design reaction comparison as allowed in TIA-222-H, Section 15
The analysis has been performed in accordance with the ANSI/TIA-222-H Structural Standard for Antenna
Supporting Structures, Antennas, and Small Wind Turbine Support Structures and the 2022 California Building
Code
All modifications and equipment proposed in this report shall be installed in accordance with the appurtenances
listed in Table 1 for the determined available structural capacity to be effective.
We at TEP appreciate the opportunity of providing our continuing professional services to you and M Squared
Wireless. If you have any questions or need further assistance on this or any other projects please give us a call.

1) INTRODUCTION
The tower is a 58.0 ± Foot Monoeucalyptus designed by Larson in July of 2019. The tower was originally designed
for a 3-second gust wind speed of 110 mph and 60 mph under service loads using Structure Class II, Exposure
Category C, and Topographic Category 1 per ANSI/TIA-222-G. All information provided to TEP was assumed to
be accurate and complete.

3.1) Analysis Method
tnxTower (version 8.3.1.2), a commercially available analysis software package, was used to create a
three-dimensional model of the tower and calculate member stresses for various loading cases.
Selected output from the analysis is included in Appendix A.
3.2) Analysis Assumptions
1) The tower and foundation were built and maintained in accordance with the manufacturer’s
specification.
2) The configuration of existing antennas, transmission cables, mounts and other appurtenances
are as specified in the previous structural analysis.
3) Unless specified by the client or tower mapping, the location of the existing and proposed coax is
assumed by TEP and listed in Table 1.
4) All tower components are in sufficient condition to carry their full design capacity.
5) Serviceability with respect to antenna twist, tilt, roll, or lateral translation, is not checked and is
left to the carrier or tower owner to ensure conformance.
All antenna mounts and mounting hardware are structurally sufficient to carry the full design
capacity requirements of appurtenance wind area and weight as provided by the original
manufacturer specifications. It is the carrier’s responsibility to ensure compliance to the structural
limitations of the existing and/or proposed antenna mounts. TEP did not perform a site visit to
verify the size, condition or capacity of the antenna mounts and did not analyze antennas
supporting mounts as part of this structural analysis report.
This analysis may be affected if any assumptions are not valid or have been made in error. TEP should
be notified to determine the effect on the structural integrity of the tower.

Notes:
1) Rating per TIA-222-H, Section 15.5
2) See additional documentation in “Appendix B - Additional Calculations” for calculations supporting the % capacity listed.
3) Seismic controls capacity.
4) Foundation capacity is determined by comparing analysis reactions to original design reactions. Design loads were
multiplied by 1.35 for comparison as allowed by TIA-222-H, Section 15.6.2.
5) Although the axial and shear capacity are at 46.3% and 41.1%, respectively, the moment reaction in the governing criteria
for a monopole drilled shaft foundation. Therefore, the overall capacity for this foundation is 33.3%.
4.1) Recommendations
1) If the load differs from that described in Table 1 of this report or the provisions of this analysis are
found to be invalid, another structural analysis should be performed.
2) The tower and its foundation have sufficient capacity to carry the proposed load configuration.
No modifications are required at this time.
3) TEP did not have sufficient information to perform a foundation analysis. If a foundation analysis
is required, please provide TEP with a geotechnical report for this site to determine the
substructure capacity. If this information is not available, TEP recommends a geotechnical
investigation.
