Exi�tin Reguie°ements
1. Exit doors shall be openable from the inside without the use of a key or any
special knowledge or effort. Doors shall be provided with self -Releasing locking devises
on Exit Doors.
2. Signs that read "this door to remain unlocked during business hours"
in I" letters shall be provided adjacent to exit doors.
3. "EXIT" signs shall be in block letters, a minimum of 6" high with a stroke of
not less than 3/4inch. Luminance on face of sign shall be 50 LUX.
4. ",MT" signs shall be self -illuminating or electrically illuminated and
energized from separate circuits. Show on electrical plans. One of the above circuits
shall be part of the emergency lighting system.
5. Exit signs shall be provided in accordance with current editions of C.B.C.
and C.F.C. Show location on floor or site plan.
Special Requirements
1. Storage, dispensing, or use of any flammable or combustible liquids,
flammable gases, and hazardous chemicals shall comply with Uniform Fire Code
requirements.
