Notches on the ends of floor joists shall not exceed 114 the depth.
Bored holes are not permitted within 2' of the top or bottom of floor
joists.
Notches on the top or bottom of floor joists shall not exceed 116 the
depth and shall not be located in the middle 1/3 of the span.
