Instructions: Check or initial applicable boxes when completed or enter N/A if not Applicable. DESCRIPTION DESIGNER ENFORCEMENT Building Envelope Measures: 150(a): Minimum R-19 Ceiling insulation. X 150(b): Loose fill insulation manufacturer's labeled R-Value. X 150(c): Minimum R-13 Wall insulation in wood framed walls or equivalent U-factor in metal frame walls (does not apply to exterior mass walls). X * 150(d): Minimum R-19 raised floor insulation in framed floors. Openings shall be sealed with mastic, tape, aerosol sealant or other duct closure system that meets the applicable requirements of UL181, UL181A, or U11818 . If mastic or tope is used to seal openings greater than 1 /4 inch, the combination of mastic and either mesh or toe shall be used. Building covities shall not be used for conveying conditioned air. Joints and seams of duct systems and their components shall not be sealed with cloth back rubber addhesive duct tapes unless such tape is used in combination with mastic and Browbands. 2. Exhaust fan systems hove backdraft or automatic dampers. 3. Gravity, ventilating systems serving conditioned space have either automatic or readily accessible, dampers. X manually operated 114: Pool and Spa Heating Systems and Equipment. 1. System is certified with 78 % thermal efficiency, on -off switch, weatherproof operating instructions, no electric resistonce heating and no pilot light. 2. System is installed with: a. At least 36" of pipe between filter and heater for future solar heating. b. Cover for outdoor pools or outdoor spas. 3. Pool system has directional inlets and a circulation pump time switch. N/A 115: Gas fired central furnaces, pool heaters, spa heaters or household cooking appliances have no continuously burning pilot light. (Exception: Non -electrical cooking appliances with pilot C150 Btu/hr) X Lighting Measures: 150(k)1.: Luminades for general lighting in kitchens shall have lamps with an efficacy of 40 lumens/watt or greater for general lighting in kitchens. X 04.8 General Requirements 05.8.1 Notes to be placed on the plans: 06.8.1.1 Maintenance Information. The builder shall provide to the building owner at occupancy maintenance information for all features, moterials, components, and manufactured devices that require routine maintenance for efficient operation. Required routine maintenance actions shall be clearly stated and incorporated on a readily accessible label. The label may be limited to identifying, by title and/or publication number, the operation and maintenance manual for that particular model and type of feature, material, component, or manufactured device. 07.8.1.2 After installing wall, ceiling, or floor insulation, the installer shall make available to the enforcement agency or post in a conspicuous location in the, building a certificate signed by the installer stating that the installotion is consistent with the plans and specifications described in Section 10-103(a)2.A .and for which the building permit was issued and conforms with the requirements of Part 6. The certificate shall also state the manufacturer's name and material identification.
