DIVISION I - GENERAL REQUIREMENTS
1. WORK PERFORMED SHALL COMPLY WITH THE FOLLOWING:
A. APPLICABLE EDITION OF THE U.S.C.. U.P.C., U.M.C., & N.E.C.
B. ALL APPLICABLE LOCAL AND STATE CODES, ORDINANCES AND
REGULATIONS,
2. ON SITE VERIFICATION OF ALL DIMENSIONS AND CONDITIONS SHALL BE
THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE SUB CONTRACTOR. NOTED DIMENSIONS
TAKE PRECEDENCE OVER SCALE.
3. THE ARCHITECT SHALL BE NOTIFIED IMMEDIATELY BY CONTRACTOR SHOULD
ANY DISCREPANCY OR OTHER QUESTION ARISE PERTAINING TO THE
WORKING DRAWINGS.
4. APPROVAL BY THE INSPECTOR SHOULD NOT BE CONSTRUED AS
COMPLIANCE WITH THE PLANS. ANY DESIGN WHICH IS UNCLEAR OR
AMBIGUOUS MUST BE REFERRED TO THE BUILDER AND ARCHITECT FOR
INTERPRETATION OR CLARIFICATION.
5. ALL PRODUCTS AND MATERIALS SHALL BE INSTALLED PER
MANUFACTURERS SPECIFICATIONS AND RECOMMENDATIONS. ANY
CONFLICT OR DISCREPANCY BETWEEN THE PLANS AND THE
MANUFACTURERS SPECIFICATIONS AND RECOMMENDATIONS SHALL BE
REPORTED IMMEDIATELY TO THE ARCHITECT. THE PRODUCT OR MATERIAL
INSTALLER SUB CONTRACTOR SHALL BE SOLELY RESPONSIBLE FOR
VERIFICATION OF THE ABOVE INFORMATION.

APPLICABLE LOCAL CODES, ORDINANCES AND REQUIREMENTS.

REQUIREMENTS.
3. REFER TO FOUNDATION SLAB AND FOOTING REQUIREMENTS AND STATED IN

APPROVAL PRIOR TO FABRICATION, STEEL FABRICATOR SHALL
SUBMIT SHOP DRAWINGS TO THE GENERAL CONTRACTOR AND
OWNER FOR REVIEW PRIOR TO FABRICATION, ANY PROPOSED
DEVIATION, ADDITION OR QUESTIONS SHALL BE NOTED
CONSPICUOUSLY AND CLEARLY ON THE SHOP DRAWINGS.
STEEL FABRICATOR SHALL FIELD CHECK ALL DIMENSIONS PRIOR
TO ERECTION TO PROVIDE FOR A PROPER FIT.
ALL FIELD WELDING EXCEPT MINOR AND TACK WELDING SHALL BE
CONTINUOUSLY INSPECTED BY AN APPROVED WELDING INSPECTOR,

ALL CONNECTIONS, UNLESS OTHERWISE SHOWN, ALL BOLTS
SHALL CONFORM TO ASTM A-307 FOR UNFINISHED BOLTS,
EXCEPT WHERE SPECIFICALLY NOTED AS HIGH STRENGTH

A-490. HI TENSILE BOLTS SHALL BE THE FRICTION TYPE AND
