Dear P'!r. Mazzeo:
Auto Emporium, Inc., which is soon to be located at 3211 S. Harbor
Boulevard, requests modification under Section 106 of the 1982
Uniform Building Code.
Auto Fn,orium, Inc. is in the business of wholesale and retail sales
and leasing of automobiles.
Section 503, occupancy separation requirements and Section 705,
ventilation requirements is requested to be omitted under the
following conditions:
,a.) Reclassify the premises as B-2 instead of B-1.
b.) Automobiles while stored within the premises shall not be
operated under their awn power.
c.) Ignition keys for automobiles while stored within the premises
shall not be accessible to the public.
d.) No gasoline fuel will be contained within the fuel tanks of
the automobiles while inside the premises.
e.) The battery will not be connected to the engine of the
automobiles.
