FIRE DEPARTMENT NOTES
1 Fire Department final inspection required. Schedule all inspections 72 hours in advance
by calling (714) 647-5700.
2. Suite numbers three (3) inches high, which shall be plainly visible from outside the suite.
3. Provide 2A 108C minimum rated fire extinguishers to be located on each level within
75 feet of travel distance from all areas.
4. Fire Sprinkler System per N.F.P.A. Standard 13 shall be provided. Reason fire sprinklers required existing.
5. Plans for the following system shall be submitted (three copies) to the Building Department for Fire
Department approval prior to installation or alterations, of fire sprinklers.
6. Exit doors shall be openable from the inside without the use of a key or any special knowledge or effort.

2. Toilet Rooms shall be provided with a mechanically operated exhaust system capable of
providing a complete change of air every 15 minutes. Such mechanically operated
exhaust systems shall be connected directly to the outside from the point of discharge
shall be at lease 3 feet from any opening which allows air entry into occupied portions of
the building per cbc section 1202.2.
