1. ALL WORK INCLUDING MATERIALS AND WORKMANSHIP, SHALL CONFORM TO THE REQUIREMENTS OF

IMMEDIATELY IN WRITING FOR CLARIFICATION BEFORE PROCEEDING WITH THE WORK.
3. DIMENSIONS TAKE PRECEDENCE: DIMENSIONS TYPICALLY TO COLUMN CENTER LINES, FACE OF
CONCRETE OR MASONRY, FACE OF FINISH OR AS NOTED ON DRAWINGS. DO NOT SCALE
DRAWINGS.
1. CONTRACTOR SHALL FURNISH AND BE FULLY RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL BARRICADES, ADEQUATE
SHORING, BRACING AND PROTECTIVE MEASURES PER LOCAL DEPARTMENT OF BUILDING AND
SAFETY AND AS REQUIRED FOR SECURITY AND SAFETY.

RECESSED ACCESSORIES AND EQUIPMENT. NOTIFY ARCHITECT OF POTENTIAL CONFLICTS PRIOR
TO PROCEEDING WITH WORK. PLUMBING, MECHANICAL AND ELECTRICAL DOCUMENTS ARE
DIAGRAMMATIC BY NATURE. THEREFORE, IT IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE GENERAL CONTRACTOR
TO FIELD COORDINATE REQUIRED CLEARANCES WITH THE APPROPRIATE TRADES. ADDITIONAL
CHARGES WILL NOT BE APPROVED WHICH STEM FROM LACK OF FIELD COORDINATION.
7. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL PROVIDE AN OVERALL PROJECT SCHEDULE INDICATING CRITICAL
MEETING DATES, LEAD TIMES AND DECISIONS REQUIRED. CONTRACTOR SHALL SUBMIT A
SUMMARY OF SAMPLES TO BE REVIEWED BY OWNER AND ARCHITECT PRIOR TO BEGINNING
THE WORK.
3. ALL EXTERIOR DOORS AND WINDOWS SHALL BE WEATHERSTRIPPED PER SPECIFICATIONS TO MEET
CONSERVATION CODES AND STANDARDS. ALL EXTEWRIOR JOINTS AROUND WINDOW AND DOOR
FRAMES, BETWWEN WALLS AND FOUNDATIONS, BETWEEN WALLS AND ROOF, BETWEEN WALL
PANELS AND AT PENETRATIONS THROUGH BUILDING ENVELOPE SHALL BE SEALED USING THE
SPECIFIED SEALANTS AND CAULKING TO LIMIT AIR LEAKAGE.
a. ALL GYPSUM WALL BOARD THICKNESS SHALL BE AS INDICATED ON PLANS. ALL OUTSIDE CORNERS
SHALL HAVE METAL CORNER BEADS. TYPE "X" GYPSUM WALLBOARD SHALL BE USED AT ALL FIRE RATED
PARTITIONS AND WALLS. MOISTURE -RESISTANT GYPSUM WALLBOARD SHALL BE USED AT ALL TOILETS,
BATHS AND KITCHENS.
