Drawings must be to scale and be on 18" x 24" minimum sheets.For roof covering specify:Roof coverings shall have at least a Class "C" rating. (1505) Wood framing members, including wood sheathing, that rest on exterior foundation walls and are less than 8 inches from exposed earth, shall be of naturally durable or preservative-treated wood. (T1805.4.2, 1805.2, and 2304.11.2.2) Provide a minimum of two No. 4 barsat top and at bottom of continuous footing. (A104.1) Provide one hour fire – resistive construction on the back side of the addition. At the front elevation, show if there is a garage door or it is a man door and provide the size. Show roof plan on both existing workshop and new storage. Show how the roof will be drained between existing workshop and new storage room. Provide cross section detail to show how new roof is being attached to existing wall. Verify the numbers used on rafter details on sheet A3. Provide shear wall in lieu of removing stucco at the right side of the work shop. Show how the interior shear wall is connected to the roof diaphragm.
