If you feel that an item is not applicable to your project, note “N/A” and discuss the reason with the plan checker.Please indicate the sheet number and detail to the right of each correction, or note the number on the plans where the correction is made. Resubmit marked original, calculations and this correction sheet. A separate sheet for response may be used.Resubmit corrected sets of plans.Meetings between the project applicant/designer and the plan reviewer shall be by appointment only. Please call (714) for an appointment.Please return marked up set of drawings with corrections.The applicant shall obtain clearances/approvals for the following prior to building permit issuance: - Planning Division approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (647-5804.) Previously approved plans should be submitted to expedite the process. - Fire Department approval on the corrected/final sets of drawings (647-5839 or 647-5700)Submit a signed copy of the contract showing labor and materials for all work to be done under the subject building permit application. The plan check engineer may accept the contract price as the valuation of improvements for unique/unusual projects in lieu of using a cost per square foot basis.Provide the following: - Provide a fully dimensioned site plan on each set of plans.CBC Section 1122B.1. Where a single counter contains more than one transaction station, such as (but not limited to) a bank counter with multiple teller windows or a retail sales counter with multiple cash register stations, at least 5 percent, but never less than one, of each type of station shall be located at a section of counter that is at least 36” long and no more than 28 to 34” high.CBC Section 1117B.8, Fitting and Dressing Rooms: - Where fitting or dressing rooms are provided for male or female customers, patients, employees, orthe general public, 5 percent, but never less than one, of dressing rooms for each type of use in each cluster of dressing rooms shall be accessible. - Entry doors shall conform to the requirements of Section 1133B.2 and aisles leading to such doors shall conform to Sections 1133B.6.1 and 1133B.6.2. - The bottom of mirrors provided for use by persons with disabilities shall not be greater than 20” from the floor. Mirrors to be used by persons with disabilities shall be full-length, measuring at least 18” wide by 54” high, and shall be mounted in a position affording a view to a person on the bench as well as to a person in a standing position. - Clothing hooks shall be located not greater than 8” from the floor. - Every accessible dressing room shall have a 24” by 48” bench fixed to the wall along the longer dimension. The bench shall be mounted 17 to 19” above the finish floor. Clear floor space shall be provided alongside the bench to allow a person using a wheelchair to make a parallel transfer onto the bench. The structural strength of the bench and attachments shall comply with Section 1115B.8. The minimum clear space within the room shall be 60” width and length. No door shall encroach into the required space. - Exceptions:- Minor specialized display areas that do not exceed 200 square feet in floor area and to which the general public is excluded need not be made accessible.- Offices in sales facilities that do not exceed 5,000 square feet in total area, that are located on non-accessible levels, need not be made accessible.Please remove all unrelated notes on the plan.Provide detail to show how the dressing rooms walls are being supported.Provide complete details for the new ramp at the door, and the handrails requirements.Clarify type of the walls the rack is being attached to.Provide complete attachment detail for the shoe rack on the drawings, to include 2 x4 to the concrete wall.Justify 48” for 1x1 members.
