Note: Numbers in parenthesis (unless otherwise noted) refer to code sections of the 2007 California Building Code (CBC); MC = 2007 California Mechanical Code; PC = 2007 California Plumbing Code; EC = 2007 California Electrical Code; T = Table; ICC = International Code Council.The drawings/information submitted for Building Safety Division review is incomplete. The applicant shall, prior to resubmitting, complete all construction documents to show compliance with the 2007 California Building Standards Code with local amendments and to clearly indicate the scope of work under this building permit application. There may be additional requirements when complete construction drawings and supporting data is submitted for Building Safety Division review.
All drawings and supporting documents shall be prepared, stamped, and signed by a California licensed architect or registered engineer. (A106.1 and A106.3.4.1). Scale of drawings must be large enough to insure legibility. Revise drawing, details and notes to be legible. Drawings will be returned without review when details, note, drawings are not legible.
Drawings must be presented in a clear, legible, and organized manner conducive for plan review. Site plan, floor plan, elevations, section cuts, foundation, floor/roof plan, general and specific notes,
T-24 energy and mandatory requiems must be separated in organized manner. Architecture and structural drawings and related items must be, again must be on separated sheets.
Truss supplier shall submit calculations and shop drawings signed by a registered civil engineer to the responsible project designer who agrees to review the shop drawings for acceptance prior to fabrication. Shop drawings and calculations shall be submitted to the Building Safety Division for acceptance after the responsible project designer has noted his/her acceptance and prior to fabrication.”
Provide structural calculations and drawings, stamped and signed by a California licensed architect or registered civil engineer for complete vertical and lateral analysis for addition and where existing walls are removed or modified. Submit truss calculations as well.
Again,the drawings/information submitted for Building Safety Division review is incomplete. Project is not reviewed for code compliance at this time. Additional plan check comments to follow and allow additional plan check time for review and comments. Please call for appointment for over counter review and acceptance into plan check withall above comments.
