All items noted on this plan check report must be addressed. If you feel that an item is not applicable to your project, note “N/A” and discuss the reason with the plan checker.Please indicate the sheet number and detail to the right of each correction, or note the number on the plans where the correction is made. Resubmit marked original, calculations and this correction sheet. A separate sheet for response may be used.Resubmit THREE corrected sets of plans.Meetings between the project applicant/designer and the plan reviewer shall be by appointment only. Please call (714) for an appointment.Provide a letter from the property owner on his letterhead with a statement that he or she accepts the design provisions of this structural reinforcement design and the related future conditions and limitations as stated on the plans.Provide a site plan including all property lines, with the location of the new opening shown. Please note that new door will have to disabled accessible with required level landings and strike-edge clearances. Callout door size and required lever-type or panic hardware.CBC Sections A106.1 and A106.3.4.1, All drawings and supporting documents shall be prepared, stamped and signed by a California licensed architect or registered civil engineer.Provide structural observation for this project. Provide requirement on plans.CBC Section 1603.1. The design loads and other information pertinent to the structural design required by Sections 1603.1.1 through 1603.1.8 shall be indicated on the construction documents. – Please include roof loads on plans.Provide fire sprinkler system attachments design and plans or provide note that are they are under separate permits and plans.Provide verification that there are no new or proposed rooftop equipments that may affect the design of the reinforcement.The engineer or architect in responsible charge of the structural design work shall include in the construction documents the following:
- CBC Section 106.3.4.1. The special inspector shall be employed by the owner, the engineer, or architect of
record, or an agent of the owner, but not the contractor or any other person responsible for the work.
