Previously approved plans should be submitted to expedite the process. - Fire Department approval on the corrected/final sets of drawings (647-5839 or 647-5700) - Public Works Agency approval (647-5039) - Proof of Worker’s Compensation Insurance shall be required at the time of permit issuanceA separate Building Permit Application is required for: - Each signProvide the following: - Provide a fully dimensioned site plan on each set of plans. - Show all property lines of record on the site plan. Provide a site plan showing location of the new tower structure. Provide a dimensioned floorplan to scale of location where tower structure is to be located. Show all adjacent buildings/structures with dimensioned setbacks. Verify location of adjacent buildings/structures and the existing foundations does not affect the new foundation requirements. The new foundation plans shows 1’-9” of foundation behind the back of the tower. Lateral analysis is missing. Provide complete wind and seismic load calculations. Lateral analysis and design is missing in the longitudinal direction. Diagonal bracing is recommended in the longitudinal direction similar to the transverse direction. Provide specifications for the Northclad cladding system for wind load requirements. Provide ICC report if applicable. The Northclad installation details show plywood attachment. Clarify if plywood is to be installed on the tower frame and metal studs. If so provide plywood specifications and installation requirements. Provide complete detailing with detail references on plans (see red markups on plans).
