And to insure the soil’s values are acceptable by geotechnical engineer to be used for equipment foundation design as well.CBC Section 1803.6 Reports. The soil classification and design load-bearing capacity shall be shown on the construction document. Where required by the building official, a written report of the investigation shall be submitted that includes, but need not be limited to, the following information: (Please insure that soil’s report to comply with all of following items) - A plot showing the location of test borings and/or excavations. - A complete record of the soil samples. - A record of the soil profile. - Elevation of the water table, if encountered. - Recommendations for foundation type and design criteria, including but not limited to: bearing capacity of natural or compacted soil; provisions to mitigate the effects of expansive soils; mitigation of the effects of liquefaction, differential settlement and varying soil strength; and the effects of adjacent loads. - Expected total and differential settlement. - Pile and pier foundation information in accordance with Section 1810. - Special design and construction provisions for footings or foundations founded on expansive soils, as necessary. - Compacted fill material properties and testing in accordance with Section 1804.5.Reference sheet SP-1, Show location of property line where roof screen is to be installed.Indicate distance from equipment screen to property liens. The roof screen to meet fire rating of exterior wall based on Table 602 of 2010 CBCIndicate exterior plywood for equipment screen and positive attachment for corrugated metal siding.Indicate ICC approval number for sealant where roof is penetrated to install the roof equipment screen wall on sheet SD1 detail #3.Sheet SP-1, provide missing sheet SD-3. If not applicable please remove reference note/detail.Indicate compressive strength of concrete on the drawings. CBC Sections 1805.9 and 1904 and CBC Table 1904.2.2. Compressive strength of concrete shall not be less than 3,000 psi.CBC Section 1603.1.4, Wind design data. The following information related to wind loads shall be shown, regardless of whether wind loads govern the design of the lateral-force-resisting system of the building: - Basic wind speed (3-second gust), miles per hour (km/hr). - Wind importance factor, I, and occupancy category. - Wind exposure. Where more than one wind exposure is utilized, the wind exposure and applicable wind direction shall be indicated. - The applicable internal pressure coefficient. - Components and cladding. The design wind pressures in terms of psf to be used for the design of exterior component and cladding materials not specifically designed by the registered design professional.CBC Section 1603.1.5, Earthquake design data. The following information related to seismic loads shall be shown, regardless of whether seismic loads govern the design of the lateral-force-resisting system of the building: - Seismic importance factor, I, and occupancy category. - Mapped spectral response accelerations, SS and S1. - Site class. - Spectral response coefficients, SDS and SD1. - Seismic design category. - Basic seismic-force-resisting system(s). - Design base shear. - Seismic response coefficient(s), CS. - Response modification factor(s), R. - Analysis procedure used.A minimum of 20% of valuation of construction is required to be spent towards providing disabled access in the priority order noted in the immediate previous item as noted in CBC Section 1134B (See item below). Revise the drawings to show compliance. Show both existing elements and how they will be upgraded to current standards.Drawings submitted to the Building Division for review shall provide the following information to insure compliance with CBC Section 1134B/Chapter 11B: - An accessible entrance - An accessible route to the altered area - Accessible restrooms - Accessible telephone (if any) - Accessible drinking fountains, and - Parking, signage and alarms
