Previously approved plans should be submitted to expedite the process. - Police Department approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (647-5840) - Public Works Agency approval (647-5039) - Proof of Worker’s Compensation Insurance shall be required at the time of permit issuanceCBC Section 1017.4, Air movement in corridors. Corridors shall not serve as supply, return, exhaust, relief or ventilation air ducts when required to be fire-resistive rated in accordance with Table 1017.1.Provide a letter the building Is not being occupied before complete TI being submitted and approved.Provide glazing thickness for all the store fronts and doors.Provide on the drawings a complete door schedule, showing: - Hardware complying with exiting and disabled accessibility requirements (CBC Sections 1008.1.8 and 1133B.2.5)-Fire rating of door assembly complying with CBC section 715 opening protection.CBC Sections 1133B.2.4 and 1133B.2.4.1, Regardless of the occupant load, there shall be a floor or landing on each side of a door. The floor or landing shall be not more than ½” lower than the threshold of the doorway. Change in level between ¼” and ½” shall be beveled with a slope no greater than 1:2. Change in level greater than ½” shall be accomplished by means of a ramp. Provide detailed sections and plan views showing compliance at all doorways requiring accessibility.CBC Section 1133B.2.5, Note on the drawings: “Maximum effort to operate doors shall not exceed 5 pounds for exterior doors and interior doors, such pull or push effort being applied at right angles to hinged doors and at the center place of sliding or folding doors. Compensating devices or automatic door operators may be utilized to meet the above standards. When fire doors are required, the maximum effort to operate the door may be increased to the minimum allowable by the appropriate administrative authority, not to exceed 15 pounds.CBC Section 1114B.1.2, 1114B.1.3. and 1129B.3, Item 3. Entrance(s) to the building or facility and primary path of travel to the specific area of new work, alteration, structural repair or addition shall be accessible. Path of travel incorporated all elements from the exterior arrival site to remodeled area.CBC Sections 1133B.7.1 and 1133B.7.5. Sidewalks accommodating the disabled must be at least forty-eight inches (48”) wide and at least sixty inches (60”) where door swings over walk.CBC Sections 1102B, 1124B.1 and 1127B.1. Provide a continuous walking surface from each exit door to public way.Professional medical and dental offices shall be made accessible and shall also comply with Section 1109B.2. (CBC Section 1105B.3.2). This requirement includes providing at least one accessible entrance protected from the weather by canopy or roof overhead. Such entrances shall incorporate a passenger loading zone. Passenger loading zones shall provide an access aisle at least 60” wide and 20’ long adjacent and parallel to the vehicle pull-up space. Vehicle standing spaces and access aisles shall be level with surface slopes not exceeding 1 unit vertical in 50 units horizontal (2% slope) in all directions.CBC Section 1129B.2. Medical care outpatient units and facilities require at least 10 percent of the total number of parking spaces provided be disabled accessible. Units and facilities that specialize in the treatment or services for persons with mobility impairments require at least 20 percent of the total number or parking spaces provided be disabled accessible.Provide fully dimensioned floor plan.Show existing stairways.Why 2-hr separation tenant wall provided , are the other walls are also 2-hr walls.Provide ICC report for fire caulking on detail 1/A3.1 and 3/A3.1.Detail 8/ S1.2 on sheet S2.1 not found.Detail 7/A5.1 on sheet A3.1 not found.On demo plan shows existing floor plan , but on structural shows new opening please clarify. IF it is new opening please provide detail for new openings.Provide detail for new 9’ opening on west side. Provide detail for 3’ interior opening.Door # 103 shall be minimum 20 min fire rated door.Show the length of the landing at door #102.Show the threshold at all the new doors.This building is subject to the State of California Energy Conservation Regulations: - The permit applicant shall be responsible for obtaining an energy plan check from a consultant who is qualified to perform an energy efficiency analysis in accordance with the California Code of Regulations (CCR,) Title 24, Par 6, 2010 California Energy Code. The plan check consultant must sign documentation certifying that a thorough, competent review has been performed on behalf of the Enforcement Agency. - The corrected/final ARCHITECTURAL drawings shall have the required energy efficiency compliance documentation with completed signature blocks filed on the plans. The same information may be copied on the Electrical Plans for the Electrical Plan Checker. - Provide cool roofing as required by 2008 Energy Standards. - The energy plan check consultant must complete the attached “Energy Conservation Plan Check Consultant Qualification Statement.” - Refer to the attached information sheet.CBC Section A106.1. Calculations must be presented in a clear, legible, and organized manner conducive for structural plan review. A table of contents must be provided and pages must be numbered for referencing purposes. Resubmit revised calculations showing compliance.CBC Section A106.1. A key plan must be provided for the structural members designed on all pages of calculations so that the calculations and plans may be correlated, call the beam numbers on the plans.CBC Section A106.1. A correlated grid system must be provided on the structural calculations and drawings to facilitate plan review process.Provide complete roof framing plan and floor framing plan to show exact tributary area .Clarify if interior wall # 4 is a bearing wall or not , if it is show the footing , if not show the loads from 4x 10 posts are being carried by that wall.
