This review does not include electrical work. Separate plan, application, fee, plan check, and permit is required for electrical work. Call 647-5800 for information.
The applicant shall obtain clearances/approvals for the following, prior to building permit issuance:
-Planning Division approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (647-5804). Previously
approved plans should be submitted to expedite the process.
- Proof of Worker's Compensation Insurance shall be required at the time of permit issuance.
As required in section 420.6.2.2 of California Building Code, provide Carbon monoxide alarms for this alternation.
The description of work for this permit in our system says: “Legalize replacement of front stair balcony including landing (floor, guardrails & handrails); replace rear balcony (footboards, handrails, spindles). The drawing only shows the replacement of rear balcony. Provide the rest of items to be “Legalized” per description above.
The notes on detail 7/A2 do not match notes on detail 2/A3. Please correct this detail.
Please call out the connectors for (N) 6X10 cont. ledger to the existing wall. See red marks on detail 2/A3.
In detail 2/A3, the connection of 4X6 post to (N) 2X8 joist does not match the sketch on calculation sheet 3. Please correct this detail to show consistency.
In detail 1/A3, the (N) 4X10 ledger X24” does not match the sketch on the sheet 2 of calculation. Please modify this detail to show consistency.
See other red marks on the drawing sheets: A1, A2, & A3. Please resubmit the marked up set of plans with revised ones.
