Previously approved plans should be submitted to expedite the process. - Grading Permit. Application is made through the Building Safety Division (647-5800) and the plan review is by the Public Works Agency (647-5039).Public Works Agency approval (647-5039)- Proof of Worker’s Compensation Insurance shall be required at the time of permit issuanceAll drawings and supporting documents shall be prepared, stamped and signed by a California licensed architect or registered civil engineer. Structural calculations and drawings to be signed and stamped by EACH engineer responsible for their work. Engineer submitting structural calculations to incorporate the results of calculations into signed and stamped drawings. CBC Sections A106.1 and A106.3.4.1. Submit one copy of geotechnical report into drawings.Provide as built drawings and attach a coy to each set of drawings. (IES justification for 53.4% Max structural usage)
