The detail 2 on sheet D1 make reference to the ICC report number 2143 which is expired on August 1, 2010. Is there a new (updated) ICC report number for these wall panels?The structural calculation submitted for this job show the lateral loads for lines 1 and 4 to be 2203 pounds each. Elevations of these walls on sheets A3 and A4 show too many windows for each of these two walls. Please justify the lateral load resisting systems that will resist these loads.This review does not include mechanical, fire sprinkler system, or electrical work. Separate plans, applications, fees, plan checks, and permits are required for mechanical, fire sprinkler systems, and electrical work. Per City of Santa Ana records, the type of construction for this building is: IIIB. Please change the type of construction from VB to IIIB on the cover sheet: “C”.Note on the floor plan the use and occupancy load of each room and/or area. Relate each use to a CBC Table item. Exiting from any occupied point in a building or structure on the subject site must be continuous, unobstructed, and undiminished to a public way. This includes gates which must show compliance with CDB. One side of the site is shown with a rolling gate, the other side is not clear. Please show compliance on the plan.All doors require a level floor landing on each side in accordance with CBC. Provide typical door threshold details and details of change in floor covering material.Provide a directional exit sign on the plan at changes in exiting direction.CBC Requires exit signs to be readily visible from any direction of approach. No point shall be more than 100’ from the nearest visible exit sign. Tactile exit signs shall be required at the following locations: - Each grade-level exterior exit door shall be identified by a tactile exit with the word “EXIT.”Entrance(s) to the building or facility and primary path of travel to the specific area of new work, alteration, structural repair or addition shall be accessible. Path of travel incorporated all elements from the exterior arrival site to remodeled area.If a walk crosses or adjoins a vehicular way, and the walking surfaces are not separated by curbs, railings or other elements between the pedestrian areas and vehicular areas, the boundary between the areas shall be defined by a continuous detectable warning which is 36” wide, complying with the CBC.Curb ramps shall comply with CBC. A level landing 4’ deep shall be provided at the upper end of each curb ramp over its full width to permit safe egress from the ramp surface, or the slope of the fanned or flared sides of the curb ramp shall not exceed 1 unit vertical to 12 units horizontal (8.33% slope).Provide parking data on the site plan showing the total number of parking spaces provided the number of disabled accessible spaces and the number of van accessible spaces, showing compliance with CBC.Parking spaces must be located so that the disabled are not compelled to walk or wheel behind parked cars other than their own. See red marks on sheet S1.Revise the drawings to show the words NO PARKING shall be painted on the ground within each loading and unloading access aisle. This notice shall be painted in white letters no less than 12” high and located so that it is visible to traffic enforcement officials. See sheet S1 for red marks.Show/note ventilation requirements on the plans in accordance with the CBC and California Mechanical Code (CMC) requirements for each type of use. Note on drawings: - All enclosed portions of buildings customarily occupied by human beings shall be provided with natural ventilation by means of openable exterior openings readily controllable by building occupants, with an area not less than 4% of the floor area being ventilated. CBC and 2013 California Mechanical Code - Provide mechanical ventilation for each area/room in accordance with the 2013 California Mechanical Code.
