Before issuance of this TI permit, the applicant has to obtain all of the following permits: Grading, Building, Mechanical, Electrical, plumbing, and sprinkler system Permits. This project is in a special flood hazard area designated on the flood insurance rate map (FIRM) as zone “A”. This zone requires that the lowest finish floor elevation (including basement) of the structure shall be at (or above) base flood elevation determined by a hydrology study for the A zone. All elevations must be referenced to the National Geodetic Vertical Datum. Reference should be made to the Flood Plain Management Ordinance, Santa Ana Municipal Code, Chapter 7, for complete requirements. Drawings shall show compliance with said ordinance including noting flood zone and finish floor elevation. Note on Plans: A Federal Emergency Management Agency National Flood Insurance Program ELEVATION CERTIFICATE shall be completed by a California Licensed Land Surveyor or California Registered Civil Engineer who is authorized to practice land surveying. The completed ELEVATION CERTIFICATE must be submitted to the Building Inspector at the time of foundation inspection, and a final certificate must be submitted at the time of final inspection After obtaining above permits, show compliance with the following items for this TI permit. All items noted on this plan check report must be addressed. If you feel that an item is not applicable to your project, note “N/A” and discuss the reason with the plan checker.Please indicate the sheet number and detail to the right of each correction, or note the number on the plans where the correction is made. Resubmit marked original, calculations and this correction sheet. Application is made through the Building Safety Division (647-5800) and the plan review is by the Public Works Agency (647-5039) - Proof of Worker’s Compensation Insurance shall be required at the time of permit issuanceShow on the plans: - Complete legal description - Assessor’s Parcel Number - Project Address - Occupancy Classification(s) - Type of Construction - Fire Sprinkler System Provide typical section view detail of all new partitions and ceilings showing: - Size, spacing, and material of framing members - Note gauge and ICC Research Report number and installation/construction requirements for metal framing members. - Method of attaching framing to the building structure. Compliance shall be shown with CBC Chapter 16 for lateral support of the walls. Do not support top of walls to suspended ceiling system unless calculations and drawing prepared by a registered engineer are submitted for review. - Sheathing material and details of attachment. Note type, size, and spacing of fasteners. - Fire-blocks and draft-stops in combustible construction in accordance with CBC chapter 7. Show location(s) and provide typical construction details.
