The applicant shall obtain clearances/approvals for the following, prior to building permit issuance:
-Planning Division approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (647-5804). Previously
approved plans should be submitted to expedite the process.
- Proof of Worker's Compensation Insurance shall be required at the time of permit issuance.
Provide a fully dimensioned Site Plan on the drawings and on a separate 8-1/2" x 11" sheet of paper. Show the location(s) of smoke alarms with a battery back up in each sleeping room and at a point centrally located in the corridor or area giving access to each sleeping area. See California Residential Code (CRC) section R314.3.1.Provide and show on the plan the location of Carbon Monoxide Alarm as it is required under section R 315 CRC.
Regardless of the occupant load, there shall be a floor or landing on each side of a door. The floor or landing shall not be more than 1 ½inch lower than the threshold of the doorway. Landings shall be level except for exterior landings, which may have a slope not to exceed 1/4 unit vertical in 12 units horizontal (2% slope). Section R 311.3.1 CRC. Show compliance for 2 new doors out of patio enclosure area and one for the door to the garage.
Wood framing members, including wood sheathing, that rest on exterior foundation walls and are less than 8 inches from exposed earth shall be of naturally durable or preservative-treated wood. Section R 317.1 CRC.Show compliance on the plan.
Provide a construction detail of proposed enclosure to show how exterior wall with stucco finish is attached at the top and the bottom to roof and foundation.
Please correct the scale for the foundation plan and roof framing plan on sheet A-02
