Specify braced wall schedule on the floor plan. Braced wall schedule shall include material type, thickness, fastener type, minimum embedment, boundary nailing spacing, and field spacing.Sheet A2 Wall Section. Specify shear transfer detailing at rafter-ceiling to wall and bottom sill-plate to foundation where braced wall occurs.Sheet A2: Specify minimum three-foot dimension at landing where new exterior door is being proposed.Sheet A2: Specify tempered glazing at proposed window in the new bathroom unless the bottom edge of the glazing is 60 inches above the floor surface. Since elevation drawing was not provided, the height of the proposed window was not determined. R308.4.5 Glazing and wet surfaces. Glazing in walls, enclosures or fences containing or facing hot tubs, spas, whirlpools, saunas, steam rooms, bathtubs, showers and indoor or outdoor swimming pools where the bottom exposed edge of the glazing is less than 60 inches measured vertically above any standing or walking surface shall be considered a hazardous location. This shall apply to single glazing and all panes in multiple glazing. Exception: Glazing that is more than 60 inches, measured horizontally and in a straight line, from the water’s edge of a bathtub, hot tub, spa, whirlpool, or swimming pool.
