R311.3 Floors and landings at exterior doors. There shall be a landing or floor on each side of each exterior door. The width of each landing shall not be less than the door served. Every landing shall have a minimum dimension of 36 inches measured in the direction of travel. Exterior landings shall be permitted to have a slope not to exceed ¼ unit vertical in 12 units horizontal (2 percent)
Exception: Exterior balconies less than 60 square feet and only accessible from a door are permitted to have a landing less than 36 inches measured in the direction of travel.Specify minimum clearance dimension at water closet.
2010 CPC Section 407.5 Setting.Fixtures shall be set level and in proper alignment with reference to adjacent walls. No water closet or bidet shall be set closer than fifteen (15) inches from its center to any side wall or obstruction nor closer than thirty (30) inches center to center to any similar fixture. The clear space in front of any water closet or bidet shall be not less than twelve-four (24) inches. No urinal shall be set closer than twelve (12) inches from its center to any wall or partition nor closer than twenty-four (24) inches center to center.
Exception: The installation of paper dispensers or accessibility grab bars shall not be considered obstructions.Sheet 3Provide attic ventilations and foundation calculations analysis and design.
R806.2 Minimum vent area. The minimum net free ventilation area shall be 1/150 of the area of the vented space.
Exception: The minimum net free ventilating area shall be 1/300 of the area of the vented space provided one or more of the following conditions are met:
In Climate Zones 14 and 16, a Class I or II vapor retarder is installed on the warm-in-winter side of the ceiling.
At least 40 percent and not more than 50 percent of the required ventilating area is provided by ventilators located in the upper portion of the attic or rafter space. Upper ventilators shall be located no more than 3 feet below the ridge or highest point of the space, measured vertically, with the balance of the required ventilation provided by eave or roof framing members conflicts with the installation of upper ventilators, installation more than 3 feet below the ridge or highest point of the space shall be permitted.
