Please remove non applicable sheets when they are not part of this permit/revision except cover sheet, AO-1. Identify if delta 3, 4, and 5 are part of this permit. Also clarify if delta 5 is added since our last meeting.
Reference sheet A1.1:
Provide enlarged detail/s for new ramp adjacent to Part delivery/Partstech parts/Warehouse as discussed in our last meeting. New ramp including, slope, cross slope,landing, and railing to comply with Chapter 11B of 2013 CBC.
A door landing of 5’.00 is required when door swings over any landing, a 4’-0” landing is not acceptable for door landing at Parts delivery. Show compliance on the drawings. Provide door clearance dimensions for door at top of ramp landing as we discussed in our last meeting.
Deletion of ramp by show room area to be part of this revision. Please provide compliance with followings:
Per our conversation, if can get revised plans as we discussed as follows, we can work with you to approved the revision to remove the ramp:
Provide two sets of revised plans with architect stamps & sign
Provide exit plan showing that the doors at the front are not required exit doors (as per attached plan)
Remove the exit sign at the door
Provide a statement on the siteplan that the doors are not required exit doors and for convenience access only. Also state that the ramp in front of the door is not a pedestrian ramp and is provided only for vehicular access to the showroom.
Provide a ADA and pedestrian directional sign leading the public access to the right as you exit the door. Show the location of the sign on the siteplan and provide a sign detail
Complete a hardship form to outline narrative of how the access for the public and disabled will be the same through this convenience only doors and including how directional signs are being provided. We will keep this with the plans for reference.
Reference sheet A-5.1, delta 5 is shown for new signage. Please note that signage permit is a separate permit and planning department approval is required.
Reference structural drawings with delta 3; please cloud the changes with delta 3 for each detail for review.
