If you feel that an item is not applicable to your project, note “N/A” and discuss the reason with the plan checker.Please indicate the sheet number and detail to the right of each correction, or note the number on the plans where the correction is made. Call 647-5800 for information.The applicant shall obtain clearances/approvals for the following prior to building permit issuance: - Planning Division approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (647-5804.) Previously approved plans should be submitted to expedite the process. - Public Works Agency approval (647-5039) - Proof of Worker’s Compensation Insurance shall be required at the time of permit issuanceProvide on the following information for the gates as shown on sheet L-4: - Gate sizes and hardware complying with exiting and disabled accessibility requirements The width of the level area on the side to which the door swings shall extend 24” past the strike edge of the door for exterior doors and 18” past the edge for interior doors. Provide specifications for doors hardware (i.e., lever type, push-pull panic, etc) to comply with disabled access requirements.Note on the drawings: “Maximum effort to operate doors shall not exceed 5 pounds for exterior doors and interior doors, such pull or push effort being applied at right angles to hinged doors and at the center place of sliding or folding doors.The bottom 10” of all doors except automatic and sliding shall have a smooth uninterrupted surface to allow the door to be opened by a wheelchair footrest without creating a trap or hazardous condition.It is the project designer’s/property owner’s responsibility to show compliance on the drawings with all applicable Federal and State Accessibility Standards for items listed below:Provide dimensions on the plans to show compliance with CBC chapter 11B for 20’ long BBQ counter shown on sheets L-4 and D/L-10.Show compliance with Section 11B-206.2.2 for raised wood platforms shown on sheets L-4, L-5, & L-11.Show compliance with accessibility requirements per Sections 11B-206.5 and 1008 for new gates shown sheet L-4.Show compliance with accessibility requirements per Sections 11B-903 for benches shown on sheets L-4 & L-11.For detail G/L-11, are 4 X girder, 2X stringer, and joist pressure treaded wood?Provide structural calculations for 9’ high wood & steel lattice shown on sheets L-4 & L-10.For the AREA “D” on sheet L-4, please clarify “NEW TREATED 2 X 4 HEADER”. And provide connection details for it. On sheet A.11, the note for: Re-asphalt stalls shall have slope of less than 2%. The note reads more than 2%.
