All items noted on this plan check report must be addressed. If you feel that an item is not applicable to your project, note “N/A” and discuss the reason with the plan checker.Please indicate the sheet number and detail to the right of each correction, or note the number on the plans where the correction is made. Resubmit marked original, calculations and this correction sheet. A separate sheet for response may be used.Resubmit 2corrected sets of plans.Meetings between the project applicant/designer and the plan reviewer shall be by appointment only. Please call (714) 647-5862 for an appointment.The applicant shall obtain clearances/approvals for the following prior to building permit issuance:
- Planning Division approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (647-5804.) Previously approved plans
should be submitted to expedite the process.
- Police Department approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (647-5840)
- Public Works Agency approval (647-5039)
- Proof of Worker’s Compensation Insurance shall be required at the time of permit issuanceProvide on the drawings a complete “fire resistance design schedule” which shall include the following:
- The hourly rating of the building element, new steel beams and connecting plates as required by the CBC, Table 601. ( minimum of 2-hour of fire resistance rating)
- Evidence of appropriate fire resistance for each building element in accordance with specific UL listing or ICC Provide information on the plan to insure protection of the proposed “TyfoFibrwrap Fiber-reinforced composite system” on top of the existing concrete floor in the environment of the fitness room.Provide notes on the plan to insure that special inspections and structural observations comply with Section 1704 and Section1705 of CBC. Also, Special inspection during installation of the system must be in accordance with the ICC-ES Acceptance criteria. Please include a copy of the ICC – ES Evaluation Report # 2103 as part of this plan. See red marks on sheets A-0.7A and A-2.0 of drawings. Please revise these sheets and resubmit the revised drawings for recheck.
