Risk Category one represents low risk to human life in the event of structures failure. Provide note on plan that storage racks are not open to public, employee access only. If the storage rack area is open to public, revise the Risk Category to Two. Revise calculations are not necessary since the seismic importance factor remains 1.0.Specify design parameter data on plan. For example, Risk Category, Ss, S1, Sms, Sm1, Response modification factor, Seismic Response coefficient, design dead load on storage racks.Provide note on plan:” All post-installed anchor bolts require special inspection”.Provide note on plan:” Rack installations shall display in one or more conspicuous locations a permanent sign of 50 square inches in area, showing the capacity of the rack.”Provide note on plan: “The clear space sprinkler shall be a minimum of 18 inches between the top of the storage and the ceiling sprinkler deflector.”Last page on structural calculations show two -5/8” diameter bolt with 4 inches embedment to be used on connection between storage rack and concrete foundation. Sheet S-1 shows two connection details. However, it does not match the calculations. Please stamp and sign the plan and structural calculations.
