However, there are no information on existing framing plan that shows existing framing is a shear-wall. Calculations page “E4” shows grid-line “1” provides four feet of shear-wall. Provide shear wall at new framing or show existing framing along grid line “1” has adequate lateral capacity to resist the seismic load.
