Exterior landings shall be permitted to have a slope not to exceed ¼ unit vertical in 12 units horizontal (2 percent)Exception: Exterior balconies less than 60 square feet and only accessible from a door are permitted to have a landing less than 36 inches measured in the direction of travel.Specify tempered glazing in new bathroom (3) if the bottom edge of glazing is less than 60 inches above finished floor. Glazing in walls, enclosures or fences containing or facing hot tubs, spas, whirlpools, saunas, steam rooms, bathtubs, showers and indoor or outdoor swimming pools where the bottom exposed edge of the glazing is less than 60 inches measured vertically above any standing or walking surface shall be considered a hazardous location.
