All items noted on this plan check report must be addressed. If you feel that an item is not applicable to your project, note “N/A” and discuss the reason with the plan checker.Please indicate the sheet number and detail to the right of each correction, or note the number on the plans where the correction is made. Resubmit marked original, calculations and this correction sheet. A separate sheet for response may be used.Resubmit 3corrected sets of plans.Meetings between the project applicant/designer and the plan reviewer shall be by appointment only. Please call (714) 667-2743 for an appointment.The applicant shall obtain clearances/approvals for the following prior to building permit issuance:
- Planning Division approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (647-5804.) Previously approved plans
should be submitted to expedite the process.
- Fire Department approval on the corrected/final sets of drawings ((714)573-6100)
- Police Department approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (647-5840)
- Public Works Agency approval (647-5039)
- Grading Permit. Application is made through the Building Safety Division (647-5800) and the plan review is by
the Public Works Agency (647-5039)
- County of Orange Health Department approval on the corrected/final set of drawings ((714)433-6000)
- School District Compliance Certificate; a copy of the building permit application, signed by the plan check
engineer, shall be required by the School District to verify the scope of work. Refer to the attached handout.
- Proof of Worker’s Compensation Insurance shall be required at the time of permit issuance
- Information Technology equipment rooms require a completed electrical plan check prior to issuance of the
building permit to ensure compliance with the 2010 California Electrical Code (CEC) Article 645, Electronic
Computer/Data Processing Equipment. CEC Article 645 may require fire-rated walls, floors, and ceilings for
the computer room(s). For additional information, contact Mr. Scott Davis, Electrical Plan Check at (714) 647-
5822.The valuation of improvements for the subject building permit application has been calculated to be $25000.Show on the plans:

- Area tabulation justifying floor area(s) of building(s) (CBC Sections 503, 505, 506, 507, and 508 and CBC

- Fire Sprinkler System (State purpose of sprinkler system, for example, area increase under CBC Section
506.3, required by CBC Section 903 for type of occupancy, etc.)Provide a floor plan that shows location of all exit doors, hallways corridoes etc. Please make sure the new installation does not interferes with the required exits.Specify on plans the type of construction of the building and occupancy group as permitted. Specify on plans the existing and proposed use and occupancy of the building.Clarify where the exhaust fan is located. Please clarify if the exhaust fan is existing or proposed; if new, please show location and its support on the structural plans.Specify the weight of the ducts and have the attachment to the roof structure evaluated by the engineer of record. ( the duct attachment details should be shown on structural plans.Specify the ESR report number for the anchors on plans. Per ESR report, special inspection is required for the installation the anchor bolts. Please indicate so on the plans.
