See the list below for items # 7, 9, 11, & 14. For item # 9, please have the attached form reviewed and signed off by the plan check consultant and please verify that existing walls and roof insulations matching the proposed energy calculation, Plus, verify that the existing windows meet the energy calculation. It is unlikely that the existing windows have SHGC OF 025!! For item # 11, please update the code edition under the project general notes, note # 1. For item # 14, the engineer to evaluate/ update the existing ridge board to a ridge beam due to eliminating the rafter/ceiling joist ties. See roof framing plans for the location.All items noted on this plan check report must be addressed. If you feel that an item is not applicable to your project, note “N/A” and discuss the reason with the plan checker.Please indicate the sheet number and detail to the right of each correction, or note the number on the plans where the correction is made. Resubmit marked original, calculations and this correction sheet. Call 647-5800 for information.] The applicant shall obtain clearances/approvals for the following, prior to building permit issuance: -Planning Division approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (647-5804). Previously approved plans should be submitted to expedite the process. -Public Works Agency approval (647-5039). -Proof of Worker's Compensation Insurance shall be required at the time of permit issuance. Wall covering shall be cement plaster, tile or approved equal to 72 inches above drain at showers or tub with showers. The residence shall conform to the State Energy Conservation Standards. Submit forms and calculations for review and blueprint the final forms on the plans. -The permit applicant shall be responsible for obtaining an energy plan check from a consultant who is qualified to perform an energy efficiency analysis in accordance with the California Code of Regulations (CCR), Title 24, Part 1 (Administration) and Part 6 (2013 California Energy Code). -The energy plan check consultant must sign documentation forms on behalf of the Building Safety Division. Show attic ventilation type, size, and location. The required ventilation area ratio is 1/150 of attic area or 1/300 of attic area, with required vapor retarder, if at least half of the vent area is provided by ventilators located more than 3 feet above eave vents providing the remaining portion of the vent area. Openings shall have ¼ inch corrosion resistant metal mesh covering. Show underfloor ventilation opening size and locations equal to 1 sq. ft. for each 150 sq. ft. of underfloor area. Openings shall be as close to corners as practical and shall provide cross ventilation along the length of at least two opposite sides. Openings shall have ¼ inch corrosion resistant metal mesh covering. The proposed roof plan on sheet A301 does not match the roof framing shown on sheet S1. The applicable code editions on sheet TS101 shall be updated to 2013 codes. See other red marks on the plans. Please resubmit the marked up set with revised plans for recheck.
