All items noted on this plan check report must be addressed. If you feel that an item is not applicable to your project, note “N/A” and discuss the reason with the plan checker.Please indicate the sheet number and detail to the right of each correction, or note the number on the plans where the correction is made. Resubmit marked original, calculations and this correction sheet. A separate sheet for response may be used.Resubmit 3 corrected sets of plans.Meetings between the project applicant/designer and the plan reviewer shall be by appointment only. Please call (714) 647-5848 for an appointment.The drawings/information submitted for Building Safety Division review is incomplete. The applicant shall, prior to resubmitting, complete all construction documents to show compliance with the 2010 California Building Standards Code with local amendments.This review does not include mechanical, plumbing, fire sprinkler system, or electrical work. Separate plans, applications, fees, plan checks, and permits are required for mechanical, plumbing, fire sprinkler systems, and electrical work. Call 647-5800 for information.The applicant shall obtain clearances/approvals for the following prior to building permit issuance:
- Planning Division approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (647-5804.) Previously approved plans
should be submitted to expedite the process.
- Fire Department approval on the corrected/final sets of drawings ((714)573-6100).
- Public Works Agency approval (647-5039).Police department approval on corrected/final set of drawings (647-5840
- Proof of Worker’s Compensation Insurance shall be required at the time of permit issuance.Provide the following:
Provide a dimensioned site that shows the location of all buildings on the site in addition to the proposed work.Show on the plans:

- Type of ConstructionProvide structural calcs for all masonry walls higher than 7 feet tall, please note special inspection is required for masonry wall.Provide structural calcs for all chain link fencing taller than 7 feet. Please note that the chain link fence propose has the solid pickets which will increase the wind load. Provide structural calculations evaluating the equipment and its anchoring in overturning.Specify the thickness of the all proposed slabs.( please note the slab is shown in some areas as 8” thick and in other as 15”; please cross reference to make it clear>Specify the weight and height of all equipment on plans.Provide an accessible parking space that complies with the dimensions specifies under 11B for an accessible parking space plus the loading area. Show all required details and slopes to ensure compliance.If the charging station is designed to allow customers leave their car at the charging station and walk to the shopping center, an accessible path from the accessible parking spot to the shopping center need to be provided. Please provide details and notes to show that the path complies with the accessibility requirements.Provide an elevation of the charging unit sufficient to demonstrate compliance with the reach ranges for side or front reach and approach to the unit as required by the CBC chapter 11B.Specify the approx. location and Maximum weight of equipment supported on the H frame.Detail C on S1, where does this apply? Is it the support for the metal gate?
