The applicant shall obtain clearances/approvals for the following, prior to building permit issuance:
-Planning Division approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (647-5804). Previously
approved plans should be submitted to expedite the process.
-Public Works Agency approval (647-5039).
-Proof of Worker's Compensation Insurance shall be required at the time of permit issuance.Walls of dwelling units and accessory buildings without an automatic residential fire sprinkler protection with a fire separation distance less than 5 feet are required to have a full one hour rating. (CRC Table R302.1 (1)) Please specify 5/8 type X to qualify for the 1-hour const.Show location and size of all fire escape from all bedrooms existing and new.( show the size of the opening and height above floor for the small window of the existing bedroom next to the study.Provide a connection detail of the ceiling joists; please note that the ceiling joists are acting as rafter tie. Connection has to be strong enough to withstand tension force.(connection in question is for the ceiling ties when not a continuous member).Based on the calculations the area of the proposed bedroom is 480 sqft. I am not quite sure why it is crossed out.(Per the scale provided the dimensions are wrong. All plans must be drawn to scale).Provide a strap between the new PSL at the patio area and the shear wall.(10/4 as indicated in your correction reference is a wrong detail for the strap of the PSL).
