Previously approved plans should be submitted to expedite the process. The valuation of improvements for the subject building permit application has been calculated to be $10,000.Dimension the maximum height of the angle located at the end of the brace.Engineer of record should sign and stamp the plan.Call out the welding of the angle to the base plate.Provide a detail of the connection of the proposed 2X to the existing beams.Add a note to the plans indicating that all welding to be done in an approved shop and that a copy of the certificate should be submitted to the inspector or plan check engineer.Please clarify why the allowable value of the lag bolt is being multiplied by 2 twice; the member is not in double shear and the Load duration factor is 1.6.
