The recheck of your plans were completed this morning, 03/22/2016. Plans are approved for building permit issuance subject to items # 6 below. Please pick up your plans from plan check counter and obtain approvals under item # 6 and pull the building permit.

CITY OF SANTA ANA AMENDMENTS
All items noted on this plan check report must be addressed. If you feel that an item is not applicable to your project, note “N/A” and discuss the reason with the plan checker.Resubmit 2corrected sets of plans.Meetings between the project applicant/designer and the plan reviewer shall be by appointment only. Please call (714) 647-5862 for an appointment.All persons preparing plans, specifications, and instruments of service for others shall sign those plans, specifications and other instruments of service for others shall sign those plans, specifications and other instruments of service and all contracts therefore. This requirement applies to both exempt and non-exempt projects. Call 647-5800 for information.The applicant shall obtain clearances/approvals for the following prior to building permit issuance:
- Planning Division approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (647-5804.) Previously approved plans
should be submitted to expedite the process.
- Public Works Agency approval (647-5039)
- Proof of Worker’s Compensation Insurance shall be required at the time of permit issuanceProvide the base plate information (such as plate width, length and thickness) on the plan for the Nitrogen Tank.Per submitted calculation pages 10, 12, & 37 the concrete foundation is designed for strength of 4500 PSI. Please modify the item #1 on the drawing sheet 1 to reflect this condition and take care of items 10 & 11 below.The result of calc page 20 for “VAPORIZER” shall be incorporated into the drawing.The engineer or architect in responsible charge of the structural design work shall include in the construction documents the following:
- Structural tests and inspections required by CBC Chapter 17.
- Special inspections required by ICC Research Report.CBC Section 1705, Concrete construction. The special inspections and verifications for concrete construction shall be as required by this section and Table 1705.3.See the red marks on the plan. Please resubmit the marked up set with revised plan for recheck.
