Call 647-5800 for information.] Provide an Index of drawings on cover sheet. Index should include all plans Provide legal description/apn # of parcel on plans. Please clarify wall legend. Wall at the back of the house are shaded but they are in a location where no work seems to beproposed. Provide a construction section of the addition above the living room/ proposed bedroom in both directions .Make sure the proposed framing does not add any point load to the existing framing.Based on the sections provided, are you removing the entire wall? If so, the current shear wall that is supporting the existing back of the house will be removed. You would need to provide adequate shear resistance at the location where all the existing walls are being removed or provide structural calcs. to justify adequacy. Show location of ceiling joists above the proposed addition to family room/bedroom.The area where the living room is being extended, and since the ceiling joists are running parallel to the ridge board, the ridge board would have to be designed as a beam to support the rafters. In addition, a support need to be provided to support the edge of the rafters. The new 4x12 shown on the plans is supporting the existing rafter ceiling joists and the new point load from the ridge board. Provide clacs to justify its adequacy. One of the shear walls at the back of the proposed bedroom is perforated by the proposed window. Either eliminate the window or move the shear wall.
