An accessible entrance. B. An accessible route to the altered area. C. Accessible restrooms. D. Accessible telephone (if any). Accessible drinking fountains, andParking, signage and alarms. Priority shall be given to those elements that will provide the greatest access in the above order. Complete and sign attached “disabled accessibility documentation” form. Valuation of proposed project is calculated as $35,000.00. A minimum of 20% of valuation of construction is required to be spent towards providing disabled access in the priority as noted in plan check comment above. Revise the drawings to show compliance. Provide drawing for existing items listed in comment number 1 above and show how they will be upgraded to current standards.It is the project designer’s/property owner’s responsibility to show compliance on the drawings with all applicable Federal (ADA) and State Accessibility Standards (CBC) . City of Santa Ana does not have jurisdiction to enforce ADA standards and it is the responsibility of designer. When applicable please remove notes on the drawingsreferring to ADA compliance. This project is reviewed for compliance with State Accessibility Standards (CBC). Proposed exterior facade with average height of 24’-0” is increasing the lateral loads on existing building. Submit structural calculations for wind load design incompliance with Sections 1603.1.4, 1609 and 3403.4 of 2013 CBC. Incorporate results of structural calculations into drawings prior to re-submittal. Provide existing structural drawings to show foundation plan, location of holdowns. Shear walls, roof plan and other applicable details. Additional architectural and structural plan check comments to follow once complete drawings is submitted to Building department for review.
