All drawings and supporting documents shall be prepared, stamped, and signed by a California licensed architect or registered professional engineer. The applicant shall obtain clearances/approvals for the following, prior to building permit issuance: -Planning Division approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (647-5804). Previously approved plans should be submitted to expedite the process. -Public Works Agency approval (647-5039). -Proof of Worker's Compensation Insurance shall be required at the time of permit issuance. -Grading Permit. Application is made through the Building Safety Division (647-5800) and the plan review is by the Public Works Agency (647-5039).Provide lateral analysis for the whole house since the majority if the roof is new.(The area of concern is the lateral for the area above the kitchen/living room. The whole roof is new and there is a proposed large opening at the fron the takes ou most of the wall..Line C in Calcs The lateral force is devided by 8, use 3ft since this is a perforated wall and check for overturning.(Line C is a concern because it is impacted on both side; where are the shear wall along this line?)Detail 14 on D2, show the knee brace in both direction , parallel to the front of the house and perpendicular to the front of the house.( point the arrow shown on S2 to both sides otherwise it is not clear).
