All items noted on this plan check report must be addressed. If you feel that an item is not applicable to your project, note “N/A” and discuss the reason with the plan checker.Please indicate the sheet number and detail to the right of each correction, or note the number on the plans where the correction is made. Resubmit marked original, calculations and this correction sheet. A separate sheet for response may be used.Resubmit 3 corrected sets of plans.Meetings between the project applicant/designer and the plan reviewer shall be by appointment only. Separate plans, applications, fees, plan checks, and permits are required for mechanical, plumbing, fire sprinkler systems, and electrical work. Call 647-5800 for information.The applicant shall obtain clearances/approvals for the following prior to building permit issuance:
- Planning Division approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (647-5804.) Previously approved plans
should be submitted to expedite the process.
- Fire Department approval on the corrected/final sets of drawings ((714)573-6100).
- Public Works Agency approval (647-5039).Police department approval on corrected/final set of drawings (647-5840
- Proof of Worker’s Compensation Insurance shall be required at the time of permit issuance.Provide an accessible parking space that complies with the dimensions specifies under 11B for an accessible parking space plus the loading area. Show all required details and slopes to ensure compliance. The space provide does not meet the minimum dimension required by the Guidelines; in addition, the charging equipment need to be within 36” from the head per the guidrline.If the charging station is designed to allow customers leave their car at the charging station and walk to the shopping center, an accessible path from the accessible parking spot to the shopping center need to be provided. Please provide details and notes to show that the path complies with the accessibility requirements..( provide a letter from the mall management indication that this is the approach that they would like to take by not providing accessible rout.Provide an elevation of the charging unit sufficient to demonstrate compliance with the reach ranges for side or front reach and approach to the unit as required by the CBC chapter 11B.( from the picture shown, the grip height seems to be higher than the 48” required.
