Call 647-5800 for information.The applicant shall obtain clearances/approvals for the following prior to building permit issuance: - Planning Division approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (647-5804.) Previously approved plans should be submitted to expedite the process. - Public Works Agency approval (647-5039) - School District Compliance Certificate; a copy of the building permit application, signed by the plan check engineer, shall be required by the School District to verify the scope of work. Refer to the attached handout. - Proof of Worker’s Compensation Insurance shall be required at the time of permit issuance The valuation of improvements for the subject building permit application has been calculated to be $34275. Is this a change of use or just a new canopy? If it is a change of use, it should be called out in the scope of work, and a floor plan for the building in question should be provided. If this is not a change of work, please revise the statement provided on sheet T1.0 to insure it is not called out as a change of use.Please note our records show the type of construction as type VA. Specify the occupancy group and type of construction of the proposed canopy.Provide a geotechnical report that addresses the soil’s variable that should be used in the design of the caissons.Show locations of all assumed property lines between the buildings. Please note that either property lines need to be assumed or the allowable area for all existing and proposed need to be shown that it is within the allowable area for the buildings based on their mixed use. Provide an allowable area analysis. If there are assumed property lines, please dimensions the distances to the assumed property line and show compliance with the fire separation distance for window openings and fire rated construction of exterior wallsAll new construction has to comply with the California Green building Code, provide notations to show compliance. The path of travel to the proposed building, and the bathrooms serving the proposed building need to comply with the accessibility standards. Provide notes and details to show compliance. Show on floor plans the location of the accessible toilets. Show location of all exits on the back of the building contiguous to the proposed truck wash area.Specify the current use of the area where the truck wash is proposed, are there currently any accessible parking spaces.
