All items noted on this plan check report must be addressed. If you feel that an item is not applicable to your project, note “N/A” and discuss the reason with the plan checker.Please indicate the sheet number and detail to the right of each correction, or note the number on the plans where the correction is made. A separate sheet for response may be used.Resubmit 3corrected sets of plans.Meetings between the project applicant/designer and the plan reviewer shall be by appointment only. Please call (714) 647-5831 for an appointment.The applicant shall obtain clearances/approvals for the following prior to building permit issuance:
- Planning Division approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (647-5804.) Previously approved plans
should be submitted to expedite the process.
- Fire Department approval on the corrected/final sets of drawings (647-5839 or 647-5700)
- Police Department approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (647-5840)
- Proof of Worker’s Compensation Insurance shall be required at the time of permit issuancePlease note that only revision delta #5 with July 28,2016 is reviewed as part of this plan check.Reference Sheet D101, demo note #8, add reference to structural drawings of Sheet S-2.01, detail #10.Reference Sheet A103, provide structural detail and Sheet number for details 2, 3, 4 and 5.Reference Sheet S2.01, detail #10, New opening in existing CMU wall, submit structural calculations for design and justification of new opening including 2 #5 re-bars around openings per Section 1906 CBC and ACI Section 14.3.7. Incorporate results of structural calculations into drawings prior to re-submittal.Indicate Special inspection for anchor bolts.Reference Sheet S2.02, Details 5, 6, 7, 8 and 9, Show (2) 2x10 for detail number. Add new 2x10 to be attached to existing 2x10 with 16d at 12” O.C. Provide a 6” high platform detail on the drawings for new smoke vent and new equipment shown on SheetsS2.02 and S2.03. Show positive attachment from new platform to roof and equipment/smoke vent including ICC approval number sealant for weather protection. Revise details to show compliance.
