Previously approved plans should be submitted to expedite the process. - Public Works Agency approval (647-5039). - Proof of Worker’s Compensation Insurance shall be required at the time of permit issuance. Clarify on plans what is new and what existing. Identify next to all structural members shown if it is new, existing, or if it is going to be replaced, etc. Plans showing a ceiling in the living room, is it existing? If new additional comments will follow. Specify the type of construction of the building, if it is rated and if it is sprinklered.
