All items noted on this plan check report must be addressed. If you feel that an item is not applicable to your project, note “N/A” and discuss the reason with the plan checker.Please indicate the sheet number and detail to the right of each correction, or note the number on the plans where the correction is made. Resubmit marked original, calculations and this correction sheet. Call 647-5800 for information.The applicant shall obtain clearances/approvals for the following prior to building permit issuance:
- Planning Division approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (647-5804.) Previously approved plans
should be submitted to expedite the process.
- Proof of Worker’s Compensation Insurance shall be required at the time of permit issuanceSpecify the type of construction of the building on plans.
Provide a statement on the site plan similar to the one on the floor plan indicating that notations provided are not a part of this permit, and are provided for reference only.
Either provide a complete structural calcs.and details of the structural system supporting the curved wall, or provide a copy of the approved plans and calcs. to verify its adequacy.
Dimension height of curved wall on plans.
Provide a diagram that labels the joints and members as used in Risa program. Please clarify which members are those cantilevered that support the entire curved loads and the imposed loads on them in the calcs.
Summarize the loads used in the design and inputted into Risa program, make sure to include the weights of any future signs if applicable.
Analyze the connection of the steel tube to the aluminum tube and justify its adequacy. It appears the two tubes don’t bolt flush, provide a shimming detail or justify otherwise.
Provide or show where in the calcs it is provided the analysis of the brackets and welded connections supporting the curved wall.
