Allow additional plan check time. The applicant shall obtain clearances/approvals for the following prior to building permit issuance: -.Planning Division approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (647-5804.) Previously approved plans should be submitted to expedite the process. - Proof of Worker’s Compensation Insurance shall be required at the time of permit issuance Submit a signed copy of the contract showing labor and materials for all work to be done under the subject building permit application. The plan check engineer to review and may accept the contract price as the valuation of improvements. The valuation of improvements for the subject building permit application has been estimated to be $15000.00. Please refer to red marks on the drawings and revise drawings to show compliance with 2013 California Building Code including July 1st. 2013 supplements. Return the red mark drawings with 3 revised sets to Building department. Provide a note on the drawings to clarify the scope of proposed work. Is this a voluntary accessibility up-grade on selective items only? Identify those elements in scope of work to be voluntary up-graded to comply with 2013 CBC. Please note that drawings are missing other accessibility compliance such as entry door, parking path of travel, site accessibility, truncated dome and signage that are not part of this review or permit. Please refer to red marks on the drawings for additional plan check comments and return mark-up drawings with 3 revised sets of drawings. It is the project designer’s/property owner’s responsibility to show compliance on the drawings with all applicable Federal and State Accessibility Standards. City of Santa Ana does not have jurisdiction to enforce ADA compliance and it is the responsibility of designer. Please remove notes referring to ADA compliance .This project is reviewed for compliance with 2013 California Building Code, CBC. “Construction-Related Accessibility Report” is not part of this permit and nor it is reviewed for compliance with CBC or ADA. Original copy is returned to applicant with red mark drawings. Revise Sheet 2.0 of drawings to void or delete note that are not applicable to this permit.
